· Modano was named No. 1 star by the Dallas Morning News and Ft. Worth Star-Telegram.
· Modano’s second goal tied him with Bill Guerin for the team lead on the season with 23.

“I got a couple of good passes, got some speed in the neutral zone. I think I caught them flatfooted.  We knew we had to get that one to get everyone in the flow of the game.”
