The Mike Modano Foundation ARCH Center Endowment Fund

The Mike Modano Foundation is proud to announce the formation of the Mike Modano Foundation ARCH Center Endowment Fund at Children’s Medical Center. The funds will be used to serve the patients at the At-Risk Children’s Hospital (ARCH) at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

For more than 90 years, the families of North Texas have trusted Children’s Medical Center to care for our community’s most valuable resource—our children. Providing more than 342,000 patient visits annually from children living not only in Dallas but from all over the U.S. and the world, Children’s is the largest provider of pediatric healthcare in North Texas. Notably, Children’s the only pediatric hospital in Texas and one of only 14 in the nation to be designated as a Level I Trauma Center allowing them to handle the most extreme pediatric emergencies.

The ARCH Center is a valuable part of the hospital. The mission of the Crystal Charity Ball ARCH Center is to improve the quality of life for physically and emotionally fragile children in the Dallas area through exemplary medical care, social support, community referrals, advocacy and education. Opened in 1999, the ARCH center allows the hospital to provide comprehensive medical and social care for children whose needs overlap with the services offered by various programs. Made up of six clinics - REACH (Referral and Evaluation of Abused Children) Clinic, Foster Care Clinic, Low Birth Weight Clinic ARMS (AIDS-Related Medical Services) Clinic, AYA (Adolescent Young Adult) Clinic, Lead Poisoning Clinic – the ARCH center’s purpose is a natural fit with the Mike Modano Foundation mission. We look forward to the wonderful partnership with Children’s Medical Center and look forward to helping at-risk kids in this community.
