CINGULAR WIRELESS SIGNING
Mike's latest appearance was at Cingular Wireless in Plano on Saturday, June 30 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Mike was there signing autographs along with Modano's Allstars signing up new members for the fan club. This appearance was a big success helping to raise funds for the Special Olympics.

Over $2000 was raised for Special Olympics in a two-hour period. Consumers could give a $3.00 donation to Special Olympics for the opportunity to take a shot at a street hockey goal in an attempt to win a Mike Modano autographed hockey jersey or stick. A $20 donation provided four shots and a discounted wireless rate plan, along with a free wireless phone or five free movie rentals. More than 30 local Special Olympics athletes and coaches were on hand to meet Mike and participate in the festivities.
